About Me:
I am an established vocalist who moved to Houston from Dallas almost 3 years ago. I've been in Austin since January 2009. In Dallas I was in two bands; Hotel 24 Band and Shig Shag. In the Clear Lake area I started a band with friends I met at the wine bar and we called ourselves Toasted Oats and we played for about 2 years. I have sung with Jon Townsend in the Clear Lake area for about a year now as a duo in resturants around Clear Lake.
I sing lead and also harmonize well with other singers. I don’t play an instrument well enough to gig with it but I make up for it with high energy and by pulling the crowd into the music. I can pull in fans and they have proven to be very loyal (I have an email list of people).
I have a JBL powered speaker (that I have used for a monitor), Shure Beta 58 microphone, 2 XLR cables, a mic stand, a tambourine and an egg/shakers (oh yeah baby).
I have had a lot of fun with our fans in Dallas and Clear Lake. I believe that if you look like you’re having fun then the crowd will have fun and the crowd comes back!
